Viscocity @ 30°C (10% aq. solution; mPa.s): 60.000 - 100.000
Viscocity @ 20°C (mPa.s): > 250.000
 
Applications: Dermogel is a colorless gel, which finds use in a variety of cosmetic
products, such as: hair pomades, hair gels, shaving gels, sun protection
products, make-up and make-up removers. Dermogel has the following
product characteristics:
  • Highly viscous, colorless gel
  • Natural glyceryl polyacrylate
  • Non-irritant to eyes and skin
  • Water soluble
  • Very hydrosopic - films on the skin lead to an even degree of
    moisturisation
  • Contains methyl- and propyl parabene as preservatives
  • Excellent product stability and compatibility: to/with temperature,
    anionic and non-ionic surfactants, hydrogen peroxide, ethanol and
    menthol, hydrophilic and lipophilic components.
Note the following restrictions in application:
  • Dermogel is not compatible with cationics or Kathon KG.
  • Dermogel is sensitive towards electrolytes.
  • Dermogel should be used in the natural pH-range of 5.5 - 6.5, as its viscocity is affected outside this range
