Applications: Roquat SM 75 is substantive to natural and synthetic fibres. Ist main use is that of a fabric softener.
Roquat SM 75 does not yellow fibres. Further, the treated fabric shows greater hydrophilic properties, which is very important to enable the garment to absorb humidity, perspiration etc. Garments treated with Roquat SM 75 do not feel impermeability.
Roquat SM 75 can readily be dispersed in water at relatively low temperatures (50 - 60°C) forming very stable dispersions. The thickness and stability of the dispersion is dependent on concentration rate, temperature, water hardness, method of mixing etc. Working rates range between 5 and 20 %, and the average final concentration in the application bath is 0.035 % Roquat SM 75 has a slightly acidic pH. In order to obtain better fixing on the fibre, the pH of the dispersion should be around 5.
